How old do I have to be to bartend in the State of Florida?

What should I look for when choosing a Bartending School?

The level of training can vary immensely from one school to another. So when choosing a bartending school we suggest you compare several schools. Take your time, research your options. The right training can make all the difference!

1)-Check to see if the school is licensed. 2)- You may have already done a bit of research on bartending schools before you came across our web site. You may even have called a few schools or filled out a contact form for more information. However, nothing beats visiting the school. You can look at the facilities, sit in on a class, talk to the students and instructors. By visiting several schools, you will walk away with an informed and educated decision as to what you will receive for your tuition dollars.

3)- Inquire if they offer a hands-on trial class (an excellent way to see the facilities and quality of training first-hand). Also check out the school's training manual. Is it up-to-date? Will you learn ALL the trendy and classic drinks served in the bars, restaurants and clubs of today? Or will you be wasting your time learning obsolete drinks like the Angels Tip, King Alphonse & Pink Lady.

4)-Make sure the bartending school has a job placement director and a 24/7 on-line job site with daily job listings?

What if I fail the test?

No problem! You can take the test and the course over again as many times as you wish. We are not going to let you go untill we are sure you are ready; our reputation is on the line. We will work with you untill as long as it takes, and NO there is never an additional charge to retake the course!
